Meet Dr. Hughes

Weston Hughes, DMD

A Dalton, GA native, Dr. Weston Hughes is very happy to be able to serve the community he has always called home. Dr. Hughes grew up as a patient of Dr. Patterson who inspired him to pursue a career in Dentistry. Dr. Hughes graduated with honors from Northwest Whitfield High School in 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dalton State College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012.

Dr. Hughes received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta in 2018. He moved back to Dalton right away and began his practice where he continues to provide a wide array of treatments from all areas of dentistry.

Dr. Hughes is married to his high school sweetheart, Lacy. They have two children, Coley and Hanes. Dr. Hughes loves spending time with his family and also enjoys outdoor activities, including golf, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing.

Dr. Hughes actively pursues ongoing education in advanced dental topics through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association®, Georgia Dental Association and Northwestern District Dental Society. He received an Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for the pursuit of excellence in dental esthetics.
